(Mark Su for Congress, November 16,2025) Chicago Jewish-Assyrian open house was held at Tikvah Center November 16 at 2-4pm. Near 200 people show on event, include event organizers, candidates, and voters.
A dozen 9th district congress candidates were invited and present at open house, most democratic candidates which filed petition present, include Daniel Biss, Kat Abughazaleh. Republican candidates mark Su, and Paul Friedman attend event.
This is one of largest candidate forum in Chicago Jewish community , include Chicago Jewish Alliance, Jewish Assyrian Heritage Club, each candidate has own table to talk with voters. Around 150 voters from 9th district show up, include Chicago, Evanston, Skokie, Wilmette.
Mark Su met voters, and discuss lots topis, include , Addressing antisemitism, US-Israel ties and foreign policy, Funding for public and parochial K-12 education, US China relations, 9th district issues, etc. Mark Su also was interviewed by Evanston media Daily Northwestern, and event organizer on several issues.
