(Mark Su for Congress, October 6 2025) 13 9th district congressional candidates present at Chicago Edgewater forum hosted by 48 ward Neighbors for Justice Saturday afternoon , October 4, 2025, at the Episcopal Church of the Atonement, 5749 N Kenmore Ave, Chicago. Near 200 people attended forum.
This is first time 48 ward has 9th district congressional candidates with a dozen of both democratic and republican candidates debate on same stage, mark su for congress from republican candidate, 11 democratic candidates include Evanston mayor Daniel Biss, social media star Kat Abughazaleh are in present.
Forum presentation start each candidate has 30 seconds self introduction, and 60 seconds for 5 question by moderator . When answer question “What is your strategy for working effectively within the current federal administration “, mark su said “To be a republican candidate, I will work republican people to reach most acceptable bills which benefit not only republican, but also democratic. I’ll try to fight reduce conflicts between current administration and state, local city office.”
For question ” How do you plan to address the increasing cost of living for Americans?”, mark su said “I’ll support build strong economy, keep job safety, develop small business to let family have more income, also I will advocate control inflation, reduce interest, and adjust taxes to make family save more money.”
